About Dave

Dave Walsh -- a registered architect and LEED AP BD+C with over 31 years of sustainability and project experience in both design and construction firms -- brings a unique professional perspective that understands the varied needs of owners, designers, material manufacturers, and public agencies.

As the former Director of Sustainability for Sellen Construction, the largest construction company based in the Pacific Northwest, Dave has managed Zero Carbon and LEED certifications and led green construction consulting for over 6.0 million square feet of exemplary “deep green” sustainability projects.

Areas of expertise include identifying lower carbon building materials, tracking and reduction of embodied greenhouse gas related to materials and construction activity, green construction best practices, peer reviews of sustainability design documents, and green material procurement. 

Able to bridge the design, construction, and development worlds, Dave is both principled and pragmatic – thriving on convening and collaborating with all parties to achieve sustainability goals and meaningful performance.
